ACEO's - Art Trading Cards
Welcome to my ACEO page. ACEO is an acronym that stands for "Art Cards, Editions & Originals". Sometimes also referred to as ATCs, or ATC2s if not the 'standard' size. Art Trading Cards have been popular since about the year 2000, and in the past I made quite a few of them - they offered an affordable way to collect art. I've noticed that lately the ACEO craze seems to be waning a bit, and I find myself wanting to work at least a bit larger most of the time! I do intend to finish my Zodiac Cats ACEO series, but am not sure about doing many other pieces in this size. My ACEO originals are 2.5" x 3.5" (baseball card sized) cards: they are mixed media (prismacolor, ink and acrylic paint) on illustration board. They are signed, titled and dated on the reverse. The other type which I have created just a few of are ATC2 cards: 3" x 4.5" (Tarot card sized) and I have made a few which are acrylic on canvas with a bonded bristol board back which contains a back image: my logo with my signature, the title and date in the center. These larger ATC cards are at the bottom of the page below the smaller ACEOs - Please scroll down to see them! Also note that my ATC Tarot-themed offerings are not on this page - they are on the
Tarot Card Art Page!
Thanks for visiting, and do return soon as I'll be adding the Zodiac Cat ACEOs here as I get them finished. Please note that prints of some of these are available in my eBay store, however I do plan on phasing these out over time: there just isn't the interest in them that there used to be. Inquiries about this and any other questions/comments about my works are always appreciated, just click on the 'eMail Me' link at the top or bottom of any page.
ACEO Art Trading Cards - 2.5" x 3.5"
These images are just a little larger than the actual size of the card (depending on how your monitor is set). Click on them to see an enlarged view - bear in mind that's like looking at the art through a magnifying glass!
