Eggs Painted with Images of Women

I do many eggs which show depictions of women doing all sorts of things: from ordinary things like working in a garden; to extraordinary things like swinging on the Moon! Here are a couple to start with.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
This one is Vid Silvestre or Wild Vine, and is one of my series of images of "women vining" - women coming to life and growing within themselves. This image is spread up and down the length of the egg, and in this case I scanned the upper portion, and then the lower.
This egg is called "Arropado con el Sol (flor)" which means Clothed with the Sun (flower). My inspiration here is a quote I have always loved from the medieval Beguine mystic Mechtild of Magdeburg about her vision of "A woman, clothed with the Sun...". From that, it wasn't a very big leap for my imagination to envision a woman clothed with a sun...flower! Here are front and back views of this egg.
